The Booze Mule is my personal mode of transport for EuroTour 2010. Made to carry anything from Italian wine to Belgian beer to Croatian pelinkovac. The donkey in the Booze Mule identity is an international symbol to alert other countries that I am a loud, drunk, braying, american jackass.

My buddy Leo opened a bar in Muscatine Iowa and asked me to come up with some logo ideas. It’s the perfect place to relax with some bar games and forget all your troubles after a long day growing melons.

I was commissioned to do a couple of gig posters for NYEP through Emmy G productions… I wish I could do more of these. And the best part was after the project was completed I received a thank you note from the leader of the band with a drawing of a monkey holding a banana and a speech bubble that said, “thanks for the posters!”

FryFest was invented a couple of years ago to honor legendary Iowa coach Hayden Fry. The moustache I started growing my freshman year at Iowa, and proudly wear today is a direct tribute to this great man. I was estatic for the opportunity to create some materials for the celebration as well as a pair of cycling jerseys for the FryFest RAGBRAI Team.

The Drink Well Do Good Tour is a tour of wine and music to raise money for sustainable and ethical wine farming practices in South Africa. Basically, the same thing that goes on with poor coffee farmers is going on with poor workers in vineyards in Africa. This is a charity that is set up to be successful… helping people in need by drinking wine and grooving out to afro beats.

Formerly the Nate Kaeding Golf Tourney, now a little bigger and benefitting Children’s Hospital of Iowa… which is where the quilt blocks come from. This tournament features a plethora of Iowa celebrities including Kirk Ferentz, Nate Kaeding, and Gary Dolphin.
